Worst of 2013: Makeup Products
Sometimes even your favorite brands fails to deliver the right quality and you left gasping for more. This time 3 of my favorite brands disappointed me with their products including INGLOT, Maybelline and Lotus Herbals.
I love INGLOT eye shadows but few of the shades were just not good enough and needs an upgrade in their formula. One of the most raved about mascara from L’Oreal “L’oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes” failed to impress me too. Let’s take a look at products that didn’t performed up to the mark.
- INGLOT Eye Shadow AMC 51 – Hard texture which is difficult to apply
- INGLOT Eye Shadow AMC 57 : Stains my lids, creases quickly and stains my lids
- INGLOT Lip Duo Lip Gloss- Vanilla : Sticky texture and no color pay off
- Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick Heavenly – Grainy texture gives a freckled finish
- Maybelline BB Cream – Heavy texture, takes time to blend and gives a white cast
- Maybelline Colorama Artistica Nail Paint – Amanhecer: Doesn’t show any color eve after 4-5 coats.
- L’oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara Extra–Black: Clumps easily leaving me with spider lashes.
- Lotus Herbals Seduction Lip Contour Definer-Coral Pink : Cheap Packaging and blotchy application

I'm loving the Maybelline BB cream these days :pThough I would never use it in summers. For me the worst product will be the lakme absolute baked eyeshadows. Terrible pigmentation n staying power. Hated them to the core!
Thats an irony dear.. u made it work for u.. ;) ..I tried it but turns flaky now and refuses to blend at all.. :( . the Bakes eye shadows are pretty expensive too... still no pigmentation..opphheww.. I saved some bucks there... ;) :D :D
i have not formed an opinion on the maybelline bb bream till now :P lol sometimes i like it sometimes i dont :P

heheheh.. Me too was confused but i tried it few days back and it refused to blend and started flaking.. :(.. I had a hard time to manage with it on.. so iit son my hate list .. :P
wwoohoo.. me too didnt want to get rid of him .. will put him full january just to get that christamsy feell.. ;)

Yeah, the Maybelline BB cream gives me a white cast too.. i have to wait a full 10-15 minutes before it comes down and looks better.
True that.. Sometimes it is too dry for me that it flakes or turns greasy.. just too messy to deal with..ummppphh!!
I didn't know these products would be in worst list, will try to stay away from these but Maybelline BB cream works quite good for me though it leaves white cast behind.
Heheh..even I didnt want them to be here but even after lots of efforts they failed me.. :-/

Nice compilation. I tried Maybellines BB stick and sucks big time. It totally dried my skin. I too find some of Maybelline colorma shades way too sheer.
