Finally Finished This Month: January @ 2014

Couldn’t believe it’s almost exactly a month to new year and here I am doing the post of the products finished in the first month of 2014.
I am in a situation where I have 4-5 bathing products used more than half but didnt want any of them to be finished. Actually, picking up a diferrent one daily takes me nowhere near the bottom and the same applies to face creams and body butters.Winters are always super-drying for me and the only thing that I could maintain finishing up soon will be moisturizers only, be it face or body. Even after lot of efforts (generous application) I barely managed to finish a single tub of body butter. 🙁

Let’s have a look at the list of the finished products this month.

  1. The Body Shop Candid Ginger Body Butter – It is thick creamy body butter which gets absorbed quickly and keeps my skin nourished all day. I may not repurchase because of it Gingerly fgragrance but I would love to add other great smelling body butters from The Body Shop.
  2. Bath & Body Works Pink Chiffon Body Body Lotion: – I almost drink up all the lotions, as for body i started with Body utters but forhandi still prefer body lotion as it not only gets absorbed quickly but also keep hands nourished without making them greasy or any slippery feel. It’s mild flowery scent is quite likeable, it has ben following me everywhere, my best buddy for dry hands
  3. The Nature’s Co. Asiatic Centilla Face Cream – A rich, nourishing face cream which keeps the dry patches at bay and gives my skin healthy glow. It is one of my fav face moisturizer. Might Repurchase after testing the other TNC face creams.. 🙂
  4. Tresemme Hair fall Defense Shampoo – I was suffering from major hairfall and it the only shampoo that helped me bit. It cleanses effectively and leaves my hair soft and shiny. Will Repurchase for sure.
  5. Lakme Deep Pore Cleanser – It stings/burns my eye like hell and makes my skin prone to acnes. Hated this cleanser, wont repurchase.
  6. Maybelline BB Cream – Another, dud stuff that I managed to finish. It refuses to blend on dry skin, so used it over heavily moisturised skin and mixed bit of it in my foundation to counter the white cast. Won’t Repurchase.

  • Lovely Post Dear! I have managed to finish off my Olay Skincare cream only this month...I am intrigued by TBS's Candied Ginger & tempted to try that now...

      Candid ginger didnt have a mesmerizing fragrance I will suggets try vanilla or HoneyMania.. they are pretty awesumm.. <3

  • I toh haven't finished anything.. or no wait! I have .. my sunsilk hair mask. that's the only thing. didn't use much makeup or anything.. so nothing as such :(
    the sunsilk hair mask is really good.. have you tried it?

    • hhaaaww. not even a single thing.. :P :P .. u gotta stop shopping dearr and use up the existing stuff..
      I am lazy to use hair masks .. ;) ;) but just the effect and the results they show on hair.. :D

      I haven't tried it dear..but I will try to get it soon!!

  • Wow Poo, except maybe the shampoo I dont think I ll ever end up finishing some product, trying to change that attitude... !!!! I keep stocking up new ones & throwing the expired ones.. Will surely get inspired by yr post..

    • hahha.. why only shamppooo..:P :P.. I lavishly use Butters, Lotions, Creams . so they are always on my finishing soon listt!!

      I dont have the heart to throw stuff..so I better use it up ... ;) :P :P

  • Wow. This is a great post Poo. Whenever I see "empty" posts, I think of doing one too, but as soon as the products finish I forget about that and throw the empty bottles :-((

      You must start doing this..it is so inspiring and encourages to finish up stuff!!

      I never throw bottles instantlyy.. but keep them for at least 3-4 months.. :P :P even after the postt.. ;) ;)

      wish I cud pass it to her too but she doesnt do any makeup at all.. :( .. I had to finish it myself.. ggeeee :-X!!

    i am trying to finish 2-3 more products like Strawberry body butter (Body shop), 2 Shower gel (BBW)..
    Recently in love with body scrubs (Honeymania, vineyard Peach) and Boro plus :D (weather is too bad, my skin is crying :'( uffff yeh dryness )

      Ohh yeah onto that!! but already have a huge stock to be wrapped up!! :)
