Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio 24 hr Eye Shadow – Bad To Bronze 25 Review, Swatches, EOTD

My experience with Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hr Eye shadow Bad To Bronze:-

Bad To Bronze is light brown colored eye shadow with multi colored shimmers and dominant bronze specks. The eye shadow is pretty much neutral but shimmers give a true metallic finish on eyes.On its own, I find this shade a bit difficult to pull off but looks gorgeous when paired a dark brown eye shadow.

Texture:- The texture is extremely creamy and feels silky smooth on application. The eye shadow sets pretty quickly so you need to work fast for blending it evenly specially at the corners.

Pigmentation:- The color-payoff isn’t amazing and the color needs to builded up. Instead of applying in blending motion just pat over the lids for getting rich color. The eye shadow doesn’t show up well on my lids on its own as the color matches with my skin and looks like I have applied some smooth shimmers but the color becomes vibrant with a base (NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil and NYX Eye shadow base) underneath.

Staying:- I have no issues regarding the staying power of the eye shadow as it lasts throughout the day without fading and creasing. Being a creamy eye shadow it does have any fallout either.

EOTD:- Creates perfect smokey brown look . I paired it up with IN2IT Dual Eye shadow pen. I used the Darker shade of the pen on the crease and socket and the lighter as brow bone and inner corner highlighter.

Pros of Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hr Eye shadow Bad To Bronze:-

  1. Creamy and easy to blend texture
  2. Smooth Shimmers
  3. Soft Bronzy Brown metallic finish
  4. Look stunning even after 7-8 hours
  5. Absolutely no fall out
  6. Great shade for smoking gorgeous eyes,.
  7. Smart and sturdy packaging
  8. Nice every day wear shade

Cons of Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hr Eye shadow Bad To Bronze:-

  1. Color pay off isn’t great
  2. Wouldn’t work as an allover lid color for ducky skin tones.

Recommendation:- Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hr Eye shadow Bad To Bronze is another shimmery eye shadow from Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadows like Pomegranate Punk and Audacious Asphalt. It is a soft brown eye shadow with metallic sheen and the shimmer specks as usual aren’t chunky or glittery. It isn’t as pigmented as the latters and goes pale on lids but with a good base the color pops up. The eye shadow looks awesome when paired with deeper brown shades preferably matte. The longevity however is amazing and it doesn’t budge once set. Great for daily wear neutral and soft bronzy brown eyes. Recommended!

Rating:- 3.7/5
