Jergen’s Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer Review
I love the intensive moisturizing formula of Jergen’s Body Lotions as they keep my dry skin soft and smooth even in the harshest winters. I had just got over with two of them Jergens Original Scent and Jergen’s Skin Firming Body Lotion. I bought Vaseline Cocoa Glow few days’ back which was doing a great job but winters are synonym to Body Lotions for me and I just couldn’t control my urge to hoard body lotions and hence added this Jergen’s Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer to my stash.

My experience with Jergen’s Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer:-
Texture:- Jergen’s Shea Butter has a consistency similar to body butters. The lotion comes in squeeze bottle packaging and with such thick consistency I must tell you that I had to apply hell lot of pressure to get decent amount out of the bottle.
Application:– Its thick rich creamy texture however doesn’t come in the way of application and the cream spreads nicely just like regular body lotions. It also sinks completely into the skin without much ado.
Fragrance:– As I start slathering the rich creamy lotion on my body the fragrance burst out. As expected it is a warm cocoa buttery scent with a bit vanilla flavour. The scent reminds me of Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Lotion but Vaseline was a lot sweeter than this. The scent fades down pretty quickly and soon it faints to a level that you had to bring the nose close to the hands to get a whiff of it
Effect:-The formula is intensely moisturizing and deeply conditions the skin which is a must for my super dry skin. It contains the goodness of shea butter, Mango Seed butter and cocoa Seed butter which are natural moisturizers and replenish my skin’s moisture.

Recommendation:- Jergen’s Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer is tremendously moisturizing and performs really well at adding smoothness and softness to dry and parched dry skin. I like warm scented creams in winters and this one has a delicious cocoa vanilla scent. It may feel greasy at first but it gets absorbed fast without any unwanted oily /slick layer moisturizer. This moisturizer is a perfect solution for dry skin in winters. Other Cocoa scented Body lotions that I love are Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion, Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Lotion.
Rating:- 4.8/5

Is it a good product, never heard of Jergens. Vaseline yes, have applied it's Cocoa butter for a long time, so have applied Soya and Aloe Vera too. But somehow after a while, its fragrance starts disturbing me. The same thing happened with all Vaseline products. I have now developed an aversion to it. I have started using parachute advansed body lotion with coconut oil. It's supposed to be good for dry and flaking skin. So far it's working for me as my skin now feels soft and glowing. Secondarily, its ayurvedic. Hence, I can use it without worrying. Try this one sometime, you might be happily surprised.
Hello Reshmii.. Jergens is a US brand but now is becoming easily available in India through Big Bazaar and Online websites.. :)
Even I have tried almost all the versions of Vaseline Lotions but I never stick to one for long and keep switching .. :P :P
Parachute has surprised the whole body care market with its wonderful Body Lotion I have tried their Summer Fresh and Dry Skin version and totally loved them .. but they were just not enough moisturizing for my dry skin in winters.. though otherwise I totally love themm.. and yes natural Ingredients are enough to keep me biased toward these.. :) :)
