Today I am going to review FabIndia Avocado Face wash which I bought along with my other items from the Avocado range – Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash

Product Claims:  Enriched with moisturizing avocado butter, this creamy face wash gently washes away impurities and moisturizes skin leaving it smooth and supple. Excellent for dry skin.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocoamidopropylbetaine, Ethylene Glycol Monostearate, PEG 7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Guar Gum, Avocado Butter, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Citric Acid.

Price: Rs. 150 for 120 ml

Shelf Life :- 3 years from the date of manufacture

Packaging: The face wash comes in an opaque plastic tube type packaging with a transparent flip-top. Tube is wrapped with light green paper which carries all the information about the product.

My experience with FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:

The face wash is pearly greenish white in color and has runny consistency. I need just a small amount of it for entire face. It develops good lather but not much. It gets washed off easily with no extra efforts and doesn’t leave any slippery feeling behind. It has very mild fruity fragrance but I am sure its not of avocados.

It cleans all the dirt and most of the makeup in a single wash and never stung my eyes. It doesn’t dry out my skin which I had faced with most of the regular face washes like Pears, Ponds, Himalaya etc. It makes my skin soft and supple. Although, I have to follow it up with my facial moisturizer but not immediately.

Pros of FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:

1. Doesn’t dry out my facial skin although I have to follow it with a light moisturizer in winters as I have dry skin.
2. Doesn’t sting my eyes unlike Neutrogena facial cleanser
3. Lathers pretty well and leaves skin clean and fresh
4. Doesn’t break me out.
5. Complete ingredient list mentioned.
6. Paraben free.
7. Cruelty free as FabIndia is against animal testing.

Cons of FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:

1. Its difficult to control the amount of product in this type of packaging and sometimes it leads to wastage.
2. Contains SLES

Recommendation: Yes, I will recommend this to the dry/normal skin girls. Normally face washes dry out the facial skin in the name of cleaning and leave us with stretchy and itchy skin. It is a nice everyday face wash and it leaves my skin clean and fresh without any dryness. Dry skinned beauties can also try Dove Beauty Moisture Face wash which is a bliss for dry facial skin.
