NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow Review, Swatches, Look
I have been fantasizing about cream blushes but most of the drugstore brands doesn’t have cream blushers and others are quite expensive to be given a try as a beginner. While searching online for some affordable cream blush I got introduced to the much raved about NYX blushes. Then, it was almost predictable that they are going to be my next purchase. So, here is my review on my first ever cream blush “NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow”

How I use it- Cream blushes can be applied with or without a brush. Dab your finger tips or use cotton bud if you are hygiene sensitive and blend it out on your cheek bones with a light stippling action. The blusher will melt on the skin due to the body heat and leaves a beautiful flush of color on cheeks.
Price:- Rs. 650/- for 3.5 gm( I get for Rs.520 at 25% discount)
Shelf Life:- 3 years from the Mfg date.
Packaging:- The blush comes in a cheep looking black plastic round case with a see-through plastic lid. The flimsy packaging is prone to breakage due to bad quality plastic. The transparent lid gives an advantage of locating the shade easily. The lid shuts with a click sound to the base and doesn’t spoil the blusher while traveling.
My experience with NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow:-
Shade:- Glow is a gorgeous pink color with coral undertones. It is a pretty wearable pink shade which gives a natural pinkish color on cheeks. It is a matte color with no shimmer or glitter content. It makes a very comfortable day wear and office wear blusher.
Texture:- NYX cream blush is incredibly smooth and buttery. It is soft and creamy and blends beautifully into the skin without going patchy or uneven.
Color Pay-Off:-Color pay off is just awesome. It gives an intense color in a single application. It is not a sheer blush so you have to go easy with the blush as we can easily go over with this. One touch on blusher cream picks up a lot of color and will be more than enough for a single cheek.
Swatches:-
Lasting Power:-The blush stays for long on me. Almost 7-8 hours easily with minimal fading. The staying power of the can be increased if layered with powder blush on top.

Pros of NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow:-
- Highly Pigmented and one swipe is sufficient for single application
- Extremely soft and creamy texture
- Blends easily into the skin
- Matte finish
- Long wearing blush
- Gives an even finish without going patchy
- Price is reasonable considering the quantity.
- Going to last me forever.
- Did not break me out
Cons of NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow:-
- If not used carefully it can make you look like a Clown.
- Flimsy packaging
- Catches dust if handled carelessly
Recommendation:-The NYX Rouge Cream Blush – Glow gives an amazing glow to my face. The natural pinkish flush suits my skin tone very well. The intensely soft and creamy texture gives a non-streaky application and blends like a dream. I was super impressed by the pigmentation. The color pay off is so good that if you don’t use light hand it can make you look like a clown. The only other cream blushes that I know are MAC but I can’t compare NYX Rouge Blushes to MAC blushes as I haven’t tried any yet.
Blushes are my recent love and I enjoy playing with colors on my cheeks. Being a beginner to blushes I go easy with them and apply very lightly on the cheeks almost undetectable but still feel happy about being trying them once.
Rating:- 4.3/5
