Ingredients:-

Packaging:- Sally Hansen nail paints comes in long cylinderical bottle with a metal finished gray applicator handle. The name of the shades is pasted on the top the cap which makes them easy to pick from the stash. The brush is decently packed and flat shaped bristles. The long neck of the bottle makes it easy to get rid of the excess color from the brush.

My experience with Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color – Disco Ball :-

Disco Ball is glittery nail paint with tiny shimmers in golden, blue, green, and silver colors dissolved in clear base. Rockstar Pink had set my expectation really high but don’t except this to be as opaque and saturated as that. Disco Ball has glitters which are smoother and much smaller in size also they reveal the color only on reflection unlike Rockstar Pink.

The consistency is comparatively thicker but I didn’t have any trouble during application. It has gel-like texture which went on quite nicely over the nails with slight dragging. It gives smooth coverage distributing the glitters almost evenly over the nail bed. Only few shimmers could be detected in single coat and got them build to the desired intensity in 4th coat only. It dries quite fast so layering wouldn’t be an issue here. It doesn’t give opaque coverage but can make simple nail paints look more interesting, grab your favorite base color and top it up with this glittery nail paint and seal off the beauty with top coat.

NOTD-

It has poor staying power and without a top or base coat it will get washed away completely like it was never here. The whole layer of nail paint chipped off by 2nd day, leaving behind no traces of shimmers.

Pros of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color – Disco Ball:-

  1. Smooth, shiny sparkles
  2. Disperses evenly on nails
  3. Can be layered easily
  4. Dries quickly
  5. Inexpensive
  6. Can be worn alone or over a base color
  7. Pretty packaging

Cons of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color – Disco Ball:-

  1. Slightly thick, gel-like texture
  2. Requires multiple coats for desired coverage
  3. Chips without top/base coat

Recommendation:- Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Disco Ball has multi-colored sparkling shimmer particles suspended in a clear base. Glitters cover nails evenly with a little pushing and pulling. The nail paint can be layered to get desired coverage or use it over your favourite base color for an instant fix. It quickly dries to a textured, matte finish which can be turned to a smooth glossy finish with a heavy layer of top-coat. It’s a great shade to add glitzy glamour to your nails, if you don’t mind its short staying power and slightly gooey formula.

Rating:- 3.5/5
