Packaging:- The lipstick comes in a sturdy plastic packaging with a black base and color coded cap which makes it super easy to find the shade from the innumerable lipsticks you own! I liked this new packaging over the previous one.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Ravishing Red Lipstick:-

Shade: Ravishing Red is a medium toned red with very very fine shimmers. It is not a flashy bold red but a wearable red which looks flattering across all skin tones and can be pulled off easily. The shimmers are finely milled and add a glistening shine to the lips and don’t move around the lip boundary.

Texture: It has a creamy smooth texture which glides on lips without any tugging or pulling. The formula doesn’t feel heavy on lips even after 2-3 swipes but it may start to transfer beyond the lip boundary so can blot it once to make it almost transfer proof. The application was smooth, even and works well on dry parched lips without emphasizing the imperfections.

Pigmentation: Ravishing Red is richly pigmented but it has buildable coverage. It has lip stain kind of texture very light but full of staining pigments. In 2-3 swipes it goes almost opaque and covers all the pigmentation.

Staying Power: I am so very happy with its long lasting capability. The formula lasts easily for 6-7 hours on me after which it leaves, my lips in rich red stain which lasts for another few hours. Unlike most long lasting lipsticks which have a drying effect on lips it was rather moisturizing and wore comfortably.

Recommendation:- L’Oreal Paris Infallible Ravishing Red Lipstick is a lovely medium bright red with subtle shimmers which adds on the shine to the finish . It is a perfect red for warm indian skin tones, neither too bright nor bold and can be carried easily. It has light creamy texture, extremely pigmented and amazingly long wearing formula. I started my day with ravishing red and even after breakfast, lunch and snacks I could still see the red stain on lips which required an oily makeup remover to leave lips. I am highly impressed with this new L’oreal Infallible Lipstick range and highly recommend it, if you don’t mind the price.
