Lets move on to the next step of the super long Korean skincare Routine which is adding another layer of moisturization to nourish skin from deep within leaving no space for dryness. It can be overwhelming in summers especially for oily skin but if you have super dry skin like mine which starts flaking in summers you will thank Korean guys for inventing this as it will be a bliss in winters. So, lets see what I love or hate about this Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream

Product Claims: Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream is for all types of skins including sensitive and troubled ones.  Instead of water, the product uses snail secretion filtrate, bee venom, and EGF to cleanse your rough and damaged skin from various stresses and pollution.  In addition to the skin-trouble care, moisture supply and skin tone improvement functions, Arbutin and Adenosine contents of the contents of the product help you whitening your skin and improve wrinkles.

Direction for Use:

1. Pour appropriate amount and rub evenly spread.
2. Softly dab to enhance the absorption

Packaging: Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream comes in a simple cardbox packaging made of recycled paper carrying details in English and Korean. The actual product is housed in a dark chocolaty brown plastic squeeze tube packaging with a flip top cap. The packaging is hygienic and easy to use ( It used to come in jars so yess that’s the upgraded packaging!!)

My experience with Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream:

Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream is a white colored cream with medium thick texture and is thinner than most of the usual night creams. It spreads effortlessly and has a light weight consistency but it doesn’t feel that light on skin (Hope it makes sense!!). The cream feels quite heavy on skin and leaves a slight slippery layer behind which kinds of give an illusion of satiny smooth looking skin but it is not comfortable at all, especially in summers.

It takes time to soak completely into the skin just like the Moisturiser, so I have to massage this cream into my face to get it absorbed. I have used the tiniest amount of the cream but whenever I apply it on my face my skin starts sweating. I use this cream during my night care regime but I make sure my AC is on full cooling to avoid any sweatiness I feel because of this.

Results:My skin does appear smoother and brighter the next morning but wish the texture would have been more comfortable. I know the formula is full of good ingredients with tall claims like brightening, anti ageing and all that jazz but I just can’t stand the heaviness on face post application, so I use it on and off! Also, I have noticed that if use a tiny amount of moisturiser and then a dime size of steam cream, they are much more bearable.. so less is more in this case no matter how dry your skin is!

Recommendation: Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream has a light texture but it feels heavy on skin which was a let down for me. It takes time to get absorbed and also leaves slight creamy residue which gives a fake satiny smooth look to skin but I don’t feel comfortable with that as it makes me sweat. The cream isn’t a great option for summers but it might perform better on my dry skin in winters. So, will update you then about the results but as of now it is not suitable during summers and Oily/ combination skin people should stay away from it!
