Revlon Cream Blush Berry Flirtatious Review

Hello Everyone,

I have never indulged so much into blushes but lately I have been obsessed with them. Price:- $9.99 for 3.4gms

Packaging:- The blush comes a big square shaped packaging with a transparent glass lid. The blush is filled in a round pan and has a small push button on the right bottom corner which pops out a small mirror from the base which comes handy during travel.

It doesn’t come with any applicator but most of them are pretty useless and doesn’t serve any purpose so it’s okay with me. I usually carry a brush along or use fingers for an easy hassle-free application. The packaging is pretty simple but looks good. The quality is definitely superior to NYX blushes but so is the price.

My experience with Revlon Cream Blush Berry Flirtatious:-

Berry Flirtatious is a medium-dark plum toned pink with slight blue-undertones. It appears deeper in the pan quite close to a berry pink shade but yields a soft, semi-sheer fuchsia toned pink color to the cheeks.

The surprising part is its unusual texture which isn’t as creamy or soft like any other cream blush rather soufflé or you can say mousse cream like. It has a satiny smooth feel but the consistency is a bit stiff compared to NYX cream blushes and doest’t have so much slip, also instead of melting it gives a powdery feel.

The blush looks really pigmented but it sheers out on blending giving just a hint of color to the cheeks. The coverage however is buildable and the formula has great blend ability so it can be layered heavily to achieve the desired intensity.

Swatch

I find it easy to put it on lightly or heavily as required because it doesn’t turn cakey or look blotchy. It is not so easy to go overboard with this blush as it sheers out quite easily which makes it a fabulous blush for makeup beginners.

On cheeks-

The blush gives a nice dewy finish which will be liked by dry skinned beauties but the slight powdery touch and not so slippery texture adds it to the good books of oily skinned too. The staying power is outstanding as it stays for 8-10 hours on me with slight fading. On Oily/combi skin the longetivity might be a little less but still great being a cream blush.

The blush would suit all skin tones fair or dark. It will look brighter and cool toned on fairer skin but looks quite natural with a warm plummy-pink glow on medium to dusky skin tones

Cons of Revlon Cream Blush Berry Flirtatious:-

  1. Slightly Expensive if not under offer
  2. Doesn’t come with applicator
  3. The website says it comes in 6 color but only two are available, another one is Rosy Glow

Recommendation:- Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious is mid toned berry pink blush with a soft dewy finish. The blush goes on smoothly and has silky smooth texture but with powdery feel which blend amazingly on the skin. It imparts a lovely semi-sheer coverage with natural pinky glow which can be built up to an intense plummy-pink color on the cheeks which still doesn’t makes you look like a clown. The color payoff could have been better but it makes great cream blush for beginners. It stays on me for 8-10 hours without turning patchy.

I haven’t came across many cream blushes other than NYX but would like to see more colors in this cream blush collection

Rating:- 4.2/5
