I never planned to wear light/pastel shades as they kind make my hands look darker and untidy but I guess I was playing with the wrong colors till date becuase I was super happy with Maybelline Blackcurrant which is a pastel purple shade. So, I decided to add a few more and got this pink one from L’Oreal, L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis – Ingenuous Rose.

Product Claims:  With a formula that combines rich pigments, pearlescents and optical effects, L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis offers an extensive collection of 49 modern and fashionable shades. The mini 5ml bottle allows every woman to mix and match her favourite hues from the range to complement her every mood, occasion and look.

Packaging:- L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis comes in a sleek rectangular shaped bottle with a golden cap. The neck of the bottle is super long which facilitates easy removal of excess product from the brush. The nail polish comes with a u-shaped brush which gives a precise application as it fits better than straight bristles on the nail beds.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis Ingenuous Rose:-

Shade: Ingenuous Rose is pretty light baby pink shade in smooth creamy finish. It is not the usual blue toned fuchsia pink but a pale rose pink which exudes pastel tones. This shade would look flattering fairer skin tone but I like it even on my medium-dark hands, though it might not work for duskier complexion.

Formula: The formula has a medium-thin consistency which applies easily with the curved brush. It is neither too runny or thick, so distributes evenly across the nail bed without turning gloopy or blotchy

Application: The nail polish goes quite sheer in a single coat and gives slightly streaky application. The color builds up beautifully with the 2^nd coat but it doesn’t give that absolute opaque coverage. Also, there are lines of the brush application, so try to cover up with minimum brush strokes for an even application.

Dry Time: The formula dries pretty fast and even with 2 coats it doesn’t take more than 10-20 seconds to settle completely. The nail polish dries to a creamy glossy finish which can be sealed with a top coat.

Staying Power: The nail polish wore well on me and without a topcoat it lasts for 3-4 with minimal tip wear. The nail polish didn’t chip or peel off.

Recommendation:- L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis Ingenuous Rose is lovely soft rosey pink shade in a creamy finish. The formula has buildable coverage and in 2-3 swipes it gives a lovely pink color to the nails. The color stays glossy for 2-3 days with minimal tip wear but I wish the application had been smoother with no visible lines. I am in love with this color and have received compliments every time I flaunted it on my nails. The shade just perfect for summers, love it <3 and if you are pink lover you just cant resist this shade, Highly Recommended!
