#7DayGarnierChallenge: Garnier White Complete Fairness Cream and Face Wash

#7DayGarnierChallenge: Garnier White Complete Fairness Cream and Face Wash

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing some skin care products from Garnier. Well, I guess these are not the new launches as I have seen them in the past. So, here is my experience with Garnier White Complete Fairness Cream and Face Wash after using them together for 7days!

Price: Rs.160 for  50 ml – Cream

Rs 145 for 100gm – Face wash

Shelf Life: 36 months from the Mfg date.

My experience with Garnier White Complete Fairness Cream and Face Wash:-

Firstly, I would like to clarify that I wasn’t much enthusiastic to experience this range because it makes “Fairness” and “Whitening” claims which neither do I believe nor do I support.

Garnier White Complete Fairness Face Wash:

Garnier White Complete Fairness Face Wash comes in a squeezy tube type packaging with flip top lid. It is a pearly white colored creamy face wash with medium thin consistency and isn’t runny at all. I pour a small amount and add water to lather it up and then apply it on damp face. The formula doesn’t lather much but it does takes away all the impurities. It cleanses skin really well by squeezing excess oil without making skin feeling dry and stretchy. I wont say it has a hydrating formula but it isn’t drying either and my dry skin can easily deal with it in summers (not in winters though).

It definitely doesn’t whiten my skin but it does give me a clearer and brighter complexion. It is a decent cleanser at pocket friendly price but it does contain sulfates and Parabens

Garnier White Complete Multi action Fairness Cream

Garnier White Complete Multi action Fairness Cream comes in a small white colored plastic jar with a screw cap. I quite liked the sturdy but light-weight packaging. Garnier White complete is a milky white colored cream with medium thin texture that applies and spreads easily. It has a mild fragrance common in fairness creams but it fades away quickly. I was expecting this cream to leave a whitish cast on me like all other whitening creams do but was surprised to see how immediately it disappeared into the skin. It has light weight texture which blends in beautifully without leaving any residue behind. The formula is mildly moisturising and has SPF 19 (why not 20!!) so you don’t need to bother about sunscreen if you stay indoors.

It did not break me and felt quite comfortable even on a hot and humid day. It can prove to be a good day cream for combi/oily skin as well.

Coming to the whitening claims, as I said earlier I do not support these but as I am reviewing a product which does, so I got to mention the resultsI did not notice any difference in my complexion. It didn’t give me a fairer looking skin but my skin does feel clearer and brighter post face wash.

  • It was a great review though I don't like drugstore products much. I'm more in to high end products so my favorite is still my Optimals Even Out Day Cream and Pure Skin Face Wash , both from Oriflame. Keep coming up with great reviews!
