My Color Obsession: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipsticks

We are going to talk about some of the beautiful lipsticks from the L’Oreal Color Riche Collection. I hate to admit that I started with L’Oreal Paris Lipsticks a little late because thy were pricey than the other drugstore lipsticks but when I first tested it on my lips I was like.. I need that in my life. My favorite Nude lipstick is from L’Oreal only it’s the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Tender Pink which is beautiful pinkish –mauvey nude shade and it always looks so pretty on lips. I have always been complimented and asked what I have on my lips with that lipstick.. I love it!!

My only complaint was that the color doesn’t last long owing to its creamy formula and they came up with the Infallible Le Rouge Lipsticks which are super moisturizing and long lasting at the same time.

I must say L’Oreal Paris has amped up their game over the past couple of years and I have been falling for their lipsticks more than ever. Last year, L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick formula and they an instant hit, I got to try the Sonam Kapoor Favorite, L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Pure Garnet and it was indeed awesome.

Today, I have 3 more lip colors to share with you which are from the different collection of L’Oreal Paris.

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick Fuschia Orchestra:

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire liquid lipsticks comes in a rectangular shaped opaque golden tube type packaging which is quite different from the usual round see through tubes. There is a colored bottom and a color band on the side which makes it easy to identify the shade of the lip glosss/ Lipstick. They have a bent doe foot applicator which makes the job of applying the lipstick fairly easy.

Fuschia Orchestra is a bright cool toned fuchsia pink lip color with a super glossy finish. The formula is amazing pigmented and in 2-3 swipes it gives an absolutely opaque coverage to my pigmented lips. The formula is slightly thick but isn’t goopy or sticky and gives a smooth application. It can be worn un full form or sheered out when applied with a lip brush. It is marketed as a liquid lipstick but is more of a lip gloss .. the pigmented version though!

The formula isn’t as sticky as most of the lip glosses and hence wears comfortably on lips. It also has staining pigments so it won’t leave your lips completely even when the shine and color is gone. This hydrating and pigmented liquid lip color is perfect for winters

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Glamor Fuchsia:

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipsticks comes in a metallic Silverish- Gray colored packaging with a shade indicator on the side towards bottom. The packaging feels nice and luxurious but is prone to catching fingerprints.. :P.

Glamor Fuchsia is a medium-dark purple toned Fuchsia Pink in a satin matte finish which pulls really pretty Fuchsia plum on lips. It is one of the most talked about shade from the collection but it is a close dupe of MAC Flat Out Fabulous.

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick has a lovely creamy texture which glides on easily on lips but is not slippery or buttery like other creamy lipsticks from regular L’Oreal Color Riche Collection. In spite of its matte finish it does goes on smoothly and evenly on lips without catching on the fine lines and doesn’t feel drying or uncomfortable.

The formula is richly pigmented and in one swipe I get pretty much opaque coverage. I go for 2 for that super rich color and pigmentation. It stains lips pretty badly so needn’t worry about it wearing off as it leaves a deep fuchsia pink stain on lips even after the color is completely gone from lips. I prefer wearing such shade with a lip liner so that they don’t move around the lip border.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick Rouge Concorde:

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipsticks comes in a metallic gold packaging with a colored bottom. The packaging is pretty simple but till has an elegant feel to it.

Rouge Concorde is a fusion of red and brown. It is a pretty warm corally red with a metallic sheen. It looks so pretty in the tube but on me it didn’t look that flattering. I guess the shade will work better on cool toned fair skin tones.

The formula as usual is super smooth and creamy which glides on beautifully on lips. It is super moisturizing to the lips and dry lips will feel blessed with this in winters. The pigmentation is quite sheer which can be built up slightly but even after multiple swipes it gives a light translucent color to lips. As I have pigmented lips, I prefer lipsticks with more color coverage so this one just didn’t hit that spot for me but I am surely gonna try it on top of my dark red matte lipsticks to get a new shade every time.

There are no glitters or shimmers but it does give a metallic sheen to lips with which I have a love-hate relationship. As they are super creamy the color don’t last more than 2-3 hours on me and they don’t stain lips either so you have to reapply them every now and them.

I love L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipsticks formula but my only complaint is that the lipsticks tend to break at the base. It is not super hot here in Mumbai but still both of the lipsticks broke in their first application which is kinda heart breaking:P
