ISADORA Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick Review
Matte Lipsticks are definitely my favorite but when someone says Matte Liquid Lipstick, just the dry lips come to my mind. I am not a fan of the most of the Matte liquid lipsticks because they are super drying on lips and some of them turn tacky and patchy post application which I absolutely hate. But then I stumbled upon these ISADORA Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. So, let’s see how these work and if they are any different from the regular Matte Lipsticks.
Description: ISADORA Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick is a liquid lipstick with an intense matt effect that combines the fluid lightness of a gloss and the rich color of a lipstick! Highly pigmented formula with a super long lasting hold and a light, fluffy cream texture that leaves an imperceptible feel on the lips. Sculpted applicator tip for a precise and contour proof application.
Packaging: ISADORA Liquid Lipsticks comes in a pretty simple round plastic tube packaging with black caps. The see through packaging makes it easy to identify the shade and the shades are also written on the cap so you can store them in a standing position as well. These Matte Liquid Lipsticks have a tear-drop shaped foam applicator whose pointed tip makes it easy to define the lips and the center part picks up enough product to full the lips.

Shades: These Liquid lipsticks are available in 12 gorgeous shades with a good range of nudes and dark shades. I got 2 of these:
- 17 Berry Babe- Soft Rosy Pink
- 19 Plum Punch – Dark Plummy Brown
My Experience with ISADORA Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks:
Texture: These liquid lipsticks have a unique texture. Unlike other liquid lipsticks which are either liquidy or moussey, these have a lip gloss like texture. They apply smoothly giving a smooth and even coverage. However, Darker shade looked a little patchy but nothing much.
Formula: The formula feels very comforting on lips and initially it actually hydrates the lips. They feel absolutely lightweight on lips like I have nothing on. They take a little longer to dry and set to a matte finish but they don’t feel drying or stretchy even after drying out. No streaky, stretchy, sticky or tacky feeling at all. I love that they stay intact even if I press my lips together.

Pigmentation: I really liked the color pay off of these matte liquid lipsticks. They apply a little sheer but turn to an almost opaque finish on drying. I feel they look more intense and rich few minutes post application. Though these are the most pigmented liquid lipsticks ever, and I love that the color is buildable.
Longevity: ISADORA Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks have a really long lasting formula. They easily last for 6-7 hours and fades slightly from the center with food and drinks. They don’t look patchy or feather after meals.
Recommendation: IsaDora Ultra Matt Liquid Lipsticks have totally surprised me their non-drying comfortable formula. The texture is really nice and mildly nourishing to the lips. The pigmentation is buildable and it intensifies as it dries to a non-streaky/patchy matte finish. If you want to try I will highly suggest start with the Rosy pink shade, berry babe. Recommended!
