Packaging: Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover comes in a see through plastic packaging with a white screw cap. There is small hole on the mouth of the bottle which dispenses the right amount of product. I really like the clean and convenient to use packaging of this makeup remover. Also the bottle is quite slim and can be easily carried along.

My experience with Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover:-

Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is a bi-phased or dual-phased makeup remover, so it is advised to shake the bottle well before usage for best results. I have tried the older version of Maybelline Makeup Remover and quite liked it but this new babe surely surprised me with its performance ( in a good way)

Results: I need a small amount of the makeup remover on a cotton swab and in just one gentle swipe it took off most of the makeup. I just need 2-3 mild swipes to get rid of all makeup particles on my face. I love that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue unlike Lakme Bi-phased Makeup Remover. The formula is a beast for makeup but still very gentle on the skin and hence I didn’t faced any irritation on skin or stinging in the eyes. Also, it didn’t even result in the usual cloudiness of eyes that is common in Dual-phased Makeup Removers.

I don’t have any waterproof mascara but I used it to remove long lasting and smudge free eye liner and lipsticks and it took everything with ease. It is definitely a “Clean Express” when it comes to makeup removal as claimed.

It also claims to remove makeup without any residue and it is definitely true to a great extent but still for that squeaky clean feeling I like to follow up with a face wash.

Recommendation: Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is a Bi-phase makeup remover with a gentle formula which doesn’t irritate skin or sting eyes but does a fabulous job of taking off makeup in few swipes. I love that it doesn’t leave any oily or sticky layer on skin unlike my DIY makeup Remover but still I follow with a regular face cleanser to get rid of any residue on the skin. It is one of the most gentle makeup removers I have used for my eyes because it doesn’t sting even a bit. It removes makeup in a jiffy and definitely performs way better than expected. It is definitely a staple in my makeup stash now.. ( rushes to order few backups of this .. just in case!!). Highly Recommended!
