Maybelline has launched some exciting products lately including the new Creamy Matte Lipsticks, Pushup Mascara and the gorgeous Gel Pencils but today I am going to share my review on the ย Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free+ Balance Stick Foundation which is the latest addition in their Fit Me range. I loved the liquid Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, so lets see if this foundation stick works for me, Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation

My experience with Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation โ Natural Beige:
Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation is a dual core foundation. It has a soft creamy texture which glides easily on skin and gets blended even with fingertips.
It has a soft creamy texture which sets to a satin matte finish on blending. It gives a natural looking semi dewy finish to the skin. It doesnโt go completely matte and feels quite comfortable on skin.
- What works best:
I have tried blending it with a Flat top Foundation Brush and a beauty sponge and It does gives a better finish with a sponge. As with a brush I feel it looks patchy and streaky.
- Coverage:
The foundation has sheer to light coverage. It evens out the skin tones and hides minor blemishes. It is more of like a daily wear foundation!
- Finish
I am not very happy with the finish of it it as it sets in the pores and gives a slightly patchy look to the skin if not blended properly. The formula is not forgiving.
- Longevity:
The foundation claims to last for hours but I do not find it very long lasting. My T-zone starts getting shiny in just 2-3 hours. Setting the foundation with powder helps but then the anti-shine core seems to be doing nothing.
Recommendation: Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation is a good daily wear foundation with minimal coverage and semi-matte finish. But considering the price and performance I will prefer the Maybelline Matte + Poreless foundation. The coverage, finish, and longevity is much better and yeah more value for money too! Skippable for sure..
