This Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick – Cranberry was a part of my tiny-miny Birthday Haul. My first stint with Maybelline Moisture Extreme lippies.

Direction for Use:- Expert Tip:- Apply your lipstick by starting in the center of your lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip for a gorgeously perfect finish.
Ingredients:- The complete ingredients list is mentioned in the smallest possible caption on the packaging. I don’t own a magnifying lens to read it so skipping it purposefully.
Price:- Rs.220 for 4 gms
Shelf Life:- 30 months from the Mfg date.
Packaging:- The lipsticks comes packaged in metallic case with the outer covering carrying the family color of the lipstick. I mean the color-family the bullet inside the case belongs to. I got the cranberry shade which falls under RED color so; it has a red colored casing. The caps shuts tight with a click sound and won’t open automatically while travelling.
My experience with Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick-Cranberry:-
Cranberry:- It is a deep red shade with profound pink tones. It isn’t bright red lip color which is a little difficult to carry neither I find it a mature red (maroon based) shade as it has lots of pink in it which make it very wearable.
Texture:- The lipstick swept or I can say almost slipped on my lips. The texture is really creamy but feels so light on lips. It is so buttery and glides smoothly over the lips that it completely eliminates the need of using a lip balm beneath.
Pigmentation:- It is greatly pigmented and give lots of color to the lips in a single swipe. It goes slightly sheer in a single coat but can be built for opaque coverage easily but you ought to be careful here as it goes a little OTT and cakey with multiple swiping.

Finish:- . Lips glows and shines just like a pigmented gloss instead of a lipstick. It gives a lovely sassy finish to the lips. It looks like I have smeared some fresh cranberry juice over my lips Due to its creamy formula it has a tendency to bleed which makes using a lip-liner absolutely necessary.
Staying power:- Don’t expect this creamy formula to be kiss-proof. It transfers easily and stains almost everything that comes in contact with lips. The staying power is also not great as it stays for mere 2-3 hours with snacks and meals in between. But I don’t mind touch ups as I enjoy its soft creamy formula.

- Transfers easily
Recommendation:- Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick-Cranberry is soft and creamy reddish-pink lip color which gives a glossy finish to the lips. I love to wear this as a stain and top it up with a gloss to get those glossy pinky red lips. Its easily transferable formula could be the reason of the Lip-stains that guys show off on their cheeks and lips(talking about movies only :P).

Hey Uzma.. It is indeed a beautiful shade.. It looks much prettier on lips than in the tube.. 🙂 🙂 but its creamy texture doesnt let it last long..
