Livon Moroccon Silk Serum Review

Hello Everyone,

It is like a serum revolution going around in the hair care industry with most of the brands coming up with Hair serums. If you are connected to me via instagram (Poonam_BMM) you must have seen pictures of the innovative and mesmersing invite and the hamper sent by the Livon Team. So, today I will be reviewing this recently launched hair serum from livon, Livon Moroccon Silk Serum.

Livon Moroccon Silk Serum With Argan Oil

Product Claims: New Livon Moroccan Silk Serum has a special blend of conditioning agents that coat every strand of hair making it easy to comb through. This results in effortless detangling of hair and prevents its breakage so that you get the beauty of smooth, silky, free flowing hair.

Benefits of Moroccan Argan Oil:

  • Softens thick unmanageable hair
  • Restores shine and softness to dull, lifeless hair
  • Strengthens brittle hair
  • Heals and nourishes hair damaged by coloring and styling
  • Protects against UV damage and other environmental factors

Price:- Rs 259 for 59 ml ( Buy from Flipkart)

Shelf Life:- 2 years from the Mfg date.

Packaging:- The serum comes in a sleek see-through plastic bottle with a pump dispenser and a cap for extra protection. The pink tinted bottle and slight curve adds a girlie touch to the packaging. The bottle is compact and can be easily thrown in handbags while travelling.

My experience with Livon Moroccon Silk Serum:-

Moroccon Silk serum is a clear liquid in extremely runny consistency. It has non-sticky texture and feels extremely light on hair. It spreads effortlessly and absorbs quickly with fewer strokes.

The serum has a pleasing semi-sweet floral fragrance which is strong at first but fades on quickly to a soothing scent that lingers on for few hours. I need at least 4 pumps for my medium length hair, focusing more on the ends than the scalp. It tames my dry hair ends and makes them appear smoother and shinier.

This works best when applied on damp/towel dried hair. This Moroccan Silk Serum which is infused with Argan Oil (the latest rave in skin care industry)& Vitamin E for extra nourishment. It also conatins UV filters which sounds quite exciting and protect hair from UV damage. I liked the fact that this serum doesn’t feel too slippery/siliconey like other serum I have tried! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pros of Livon Moroccon Silk Serum:-

  1. Spreads easily
  2. Non-Sticky and lightweight texture
  3. Soothing floral fragrance
  4. Detangles hair
  5. Doesn’t weigh down hair
  6. Adds shine and makes them manageable
  7. Infused with Agran oil and Vitamin E
  8. Convenient to use packaging
  9. Pocket friendly price

Cons of Livon Moroccon Silk Serum:-

  1. Might not work on extremely dry and frizzy hair

Recommendation:- Livon Moroccon Silk Serum makes a great leave-in hair serum. It has a calming floral scent which is quite good and its light weight, non sticky texture gives an effortless application. It makes my normal dry hair more manageable by detangling them and making them appear smoother and shinier. Though, for extremely dry and frizzy hair this might not be the best pick. Overall, I quite like this serum from Livon which does a decent job of taming my dry hair ends. Recommended!

yeahh.. for normal hair it does a good job of adding shine and smoothness but dry hair will need more robust formula.. though for the price it is indeed a great pick! ๐Ÿ™‚
