As you know I am currently obsessed with Korean Skin care and getting a chance to try Korean Makeup just took my Korean obsession to next level. I have read raving reviews about Etude House Makeup products so when I spotted this pretty Gel Liner in my Goodie Box I was more than excited. Lets checkout if this live up to its expectations, Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner.

Product Claims: Line and define the eye with this Creamy-formula that glides over the lid without pulling or tugging. The quick-dry formula sets quickly and stays put all day.

Direction for Use:

1. Use brush to gather makeup.
2. Trace line along upper and lower eye lines with dabbing motion.
3. For stronger look, trace thick lines along upper and lower eye lines in one motion.

Packaging:- Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner comes in a pretty pink colored cardboard box, similar to Maybelline Gel Liner. The liner is house in a round slightly frosted glass pot with a black screw cap with pink details. The liner comes with a small brush which can be transformed to a regular one by just joining the cap at the back of brush.. cool! I usually throw out the outer packagings but this is so cute that I wanna keep it.

My experience with Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner:

Shade: BR401 is a dark chocolaty brown liner with golden specks. The shimmers are very fine and don’t feel gritty at all. I have used one brown gel Liner from L’Oreal Paris in the past but that was more of coppery brown. The shade is quite close to Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil In Metal Brown may be a smidgen darker. The liner is available in 4 shades n the black and brown family

Formula: Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner has a creamy smooth texture which glides beautifully on lids without any tugging or pulling.

Pigmentation: BR401 is quite a pigmented Eye Liner but I feel I have to layer it up 2-3 times to get the desired intensity.

Longevity: The staying power of this liner is impressive as the liner didn’t move for 6-7 hours on my oily lids, though there was a bit of fading but no smudging. On lower lash line it might smudge if one has creams going on, on her face so set the eye with a powder to prevent this. It is not absolutely water proof as claimed but definitely water-resistant. Unlike, Maybelline Gel Liner I liked that it comes off nicely with any makeup remover

Recommendation:- Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner BR401 is a shimmery chocolaty brown liner which comes with a brush. The creamy formula gives a smooth, even application and with 2-3 swipes I get rich color on my eyes. In few seconds, the liner sets to a transfer-proof finish which prevents it from moving around the lids and makes it last whole day on lids with slight fading. The liner is not one of the most affordable ones but is not super expensive either, so give it a go if you wanna try some Korean Makeup or love Etude House as a brand. Recommended!
