My experience with Hydromax Moisturizer Cream and Emolient Lotion:-

Hydromax Moisturizer Cream Texture

Hydromax Moisturizer Cream is a super thick white colored wax based cream and doesn’t feel as smooth as most of the heavy moisturizers or body butters I have used in the past.

It takes time to melt and get absorbed into the skin. The cream needs to be massaged well to let the formula sink completely. It leaves slightly slippery residue like most of the heavy moisturizers but never felt sticky. The best way to apply this moisturizer cream is to rub it in between palms till it melts and then apply to the body part because it be difficult to rub it on the body parts directly owing to its heavy texture. It has a strong sort of musky fragrance which I don’t like much but it fades away fast.

I love to use this as a foot cream as it instantly nourishes the super dry skin and make it soft and smooth. It works best on healing driest of the body parts like knees, feet and elbows. In winters, it can double up as body butter but I have to wait to use it that way and comment on its efficacy.

Hydromax Emolient Lotion Bottle

Hydromax Emolient Lotion is a rich thick creamy lotion almost like a milk cream with medium-thick texture that spreads easily. The texture reminds me of the thick body lotions from Jergens and Lotus Herbals that I have used in the past. The formula again takes time to absorb completely into the skin and needs a good massage.

It does feel slightly greasy especially in summers but I am sure it will be apt for winters when used as a body lotion. It is intensely nourishing and quickly takes away any dryness or flakiness from the skin leaving it absolutely smooth and moisturized.

Unlike the moisturizing cream, it doesn’t have any fragrance so I like it better. Also, it less laborious to use and apply than the moisturizing cream

Pros of Hydromax Moisturizer Cream and Emolient Lotion:-

  1. Heavily Moisturising
  2. Heals dry and cracked skin
  3. Leaves skin soft and smooth
  4. Great for dry skin
  5. Contains Shea butter and Kokum Butter
  6. Easy on pocket
  7. Convenient to use packaging

Cons of Hydromax Moisturizer Cream and Emolient Lotion:-

  1. Moisturizer Cream needs effort to apply evenly
  2. Formula takes time to get absorbed
  3. Slightly greasy but apt for winters

Recommendation:- Hydromax Moisturizer Cream and Emolient Lotion is a rich moisturizing combo to quench dry skin’s thirst in winters. They are formulated with Shea butter and Kokum butter which deeply nourishes skin and takes away all the dryness leaving it soft and smooth. It needs a little effort in application and needs to be massaged well to get absorbed completely but works wonderfully for dry skin. Also, they doesn’t cost a bomb and have pocket friendly prices. If you are looking for something affordable to soothe dry skin, these Hydromax moisturizers can be banked upon. Recoomended!

If it provides heavy moisturiser then it might not suit my oily skin, the pricing is quite reasonable though.
