My experience with Bath and Body Works Body Lotion- Midnight Pomegranate:-
Referring to the name of the lotion, I was sure it was going to be a sweet fruity smell which isn’t my favorite but when I smelled it, there was something that made me pick this. The pink color of lotion goes well with its name Midnight Pomegranate.
It is an intensely sweet smelling body lotion which is a bit overpowering at first but it lingers on to spicier than sweet notes. Initial sweetness is quickly taken over by the spicy base notes with a flowery scent in the backdrop. I could detect hint of Pomegranate in the fragrance but more than that it has berries sweetness mixed with spicy and floral notes. The fragrance doesn’t lessen and stays pretty strong post-application too. It lingers on for 2-3 hours easily on me.
Swatch–
The texture of the lotion feels light and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. Just a little massage and it wouldn’t leave any traces of oiliness on skin. It keeps my dry skin moisturized whole day in summers, but I prefer to use such fragrances in winters where it would be little less moisturizing and might require re-application.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Body Lotion Midnight Pomegranate:-
- Well moisturizing
- Non greasy texture
- Long lasting fragrance
- Suitable for winters
- Pretty packaging
- Doesn’t contain Parabens
- Cruelty free
Cons of Bath and Body Works Body Lotion Midnight Pomegranate:-
- Overpowering fragrance with strong spicy notes
- Requires re-application in winters
Recommendation:- Bath and Body Works Body Lotion Midnight Pomegranate has an overwhelming spicy-sweet fragrance which sometimes lead to headaches. The strong spicy notes can be held responsible for this. The fragrance doesn’t diminish or eases post-application and remains pretty strong for initial 1-2 hours. If you enjoy strong spicy scents you must give this a try, it has everything you want with a fruity twist won’t be liked by ones who enjoy simple, light scents.
Rating:- 3.5/5

but the ones I would like to recommend are Japanese Cherry Blossom(Exotic floral), Twilight woods (woody), Moonlight path, PS I love you and dark Kiss are some of the amazing fragrances, if u enjoy sweet fragrances than Warm Vanilla Sugar is also a good choice.. ;)
