Hello, today I am sharing another shade of Lakme True Wear Nail Polish from Mauve collection “Metallics 240”.

Direction for Use:-Shake Well. Apply 2 coats. Keep away form heat and flame

My experience with Lakme True Wear Nail Polish – Metallics 240:-

Metallics 240 is a dark purple shade with multi-colored shimmers which gives it a lovely metallic finish. The shimmer particles aren’t gritty but blended nicely with the base just like any pearl finish nail color.

The fairly thin formula gives a smooth application and it wouldn’t pool around the edges. I was able to get an almost opaque coverage in single stroke with the natural nail color peeping out from here & there as it goes slightly streaky but almost even. There was predominance of purple shimmers than the base color which gave it a soft metallic touch. The color went fully opaque with the next coat and little streaks got smoothened giving an even coverage. I got the true purple shade exactly similar to the liquid in bottle in 2 coats.

As described above, it moves to a dark shimmery purple shade with 2^nd coat but if you don’t want it to turn that dark for single but thick coats. The smooth and even application finishing with a glossy shine adds charm to this lovely shade which lasts 3-4 days on me without any major chipping.

NOTD-

The metallic range has metallic caps which are sturdy opposed to the plastic caps which normally cracks overtime. Unlike regular Lakme Nail Polishes which turn dark/gothic with multiple applications this is an exception as the color remains the same with multiple swipes. I have this for over 2 years but still it has the same consistency. Also, I loved the color for the fact that it made my hands looks fairer.

Recommendation:- Lakme True Wear Nail Polish – Metallics 240 is a beautiful metallic shade of purple with splash of silver, blue and purple shimmers. The fine shimmer particles, rich color payoff, smooth application, even coverage, glossy finish all of these at a pocket friendly price. #Metallics 240 makes a great pair with ethnic outfits.
