What Am I Wearing Today: Kajol’s Gerua Song Inspired Look

Hello Dolls,

I have a celebrity inspired Makeup look to share with you today and it is none other than Kajol’s “Range De Tu Mohe Gerua” look. I am super excited for this look because this is the first time I am mimicking or recreating Kajol Makeup on the blog.

I love black smokey eyes but this isn’t a complete black smokey eye or you can say a glamorous black smokey eye rather a soft and much more wearable black smokey look with a hint of pink on lips. The whole look is quite soft and understated which can be pulled off easily by everyone and you don’t have to be a pro to get this look. Also, I loved the fact that her makeup artist skipped the liner completely and just went ahead with a smudged and darkened upper and lower lash line

I used INGLOT Eye Shadow #65 for this and then blended it with a dark brown in the crease. I absolutely love how the makeup turned out without even using a single pop of color on the face.

For the face, I used a warm coral peachy blush just to add a flush of color to cheeks ( i wish I had a pink blush instead) and a bit of highlighter on cheek bones and bridge of my nose to add some dimensions to my face. On lips I just swiped a little bit of Maybelline Candy Wow Lip Balm in Raspberry which I feel is quite similar to what Kajol is wearing on her lips in that song.

The look is very wearable and I feel it’s perfect for any occasion, party or celebration with both ethnic and western outfits.
