Set Your Lips on FIRE with Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick
Today I am going to introduce another brand on the blog “Lord & Berry”. I have heard of it and have seen it on I guess fashion & you in the past but it is a slightly pricey here so didn’t get to try it earlier. I got super excited when I got this lip crayon to try form the brand but lets read on if it did worked for me that well.. Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick ( weird name.. 2..0…1.0..0 like someone from the digital world :P)
- The make up artists preference for a power-pigment pencil that delivers an intense shot of colour to your pout.
- Benefits: Available in shiny or matte finishes, this long-lasting ‘crayon lipstick’ uses built-in moisture to help soothe..
Direction for Use: Smooth onto your lips as often as desired.
Price: Rs. 1150 for 3.5gms (Oouch)
Shelf Life: 3 years from the Mfg date.
Packaging: Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick comes in a matte black chubby pencil packaging with a transparent glass cap carrying the shade of the of the lip color. I so whish the pencil had a retractable packaging than this sharpenable one and I am sure I am going to loose a lot while sharpening.
My experience with Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick Fire:
Shade: Fire is a bright reddish Orange lip color in a glossy creamy finish. It is one of those bold lip colors that screams and divert all the attention to your lips so be well prepared to get question about your lip color ;). It is a great spring-summer shade and I can see my self pulling it off more than the other oranges or reds because its just so my type of Red… or Orange !! 😀
Formula: Lord & Berry 20100 Lip crayon has a super creamy texture, it almost melts on lips during application. The formula is light weight and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on lips. I feel it is quite hydrating to the lips so I can easily swipe it on – on my dry lip day and forget about lip lines and imperfections. As it kinds of melts on application, it will be best to use a lip brush for the same especially for defining the cupids bow. Also, the lipstick has a lovely vanilla scent which is really nice.
Don’t Miss to Checkout:
Pigmentation: I love how crazily pigmented this lip color is.. just one swipe and bang!! It completely covers my lip pigmentation and gives an opaque coverage. I have tried many lip colors in the past like from Maybelline, L’Oreal, INGLOT, Givenchy, MAC but all of them required at least 2 swipes for even color but not this one!!
Staying Power: hate to admit but this has been the most disappointing part of the lip crayon. Owing to its creamy texture, it transfers like anything!! And if you are not careful it will be all over your face. Using a lip liner is a good idea and patting it down few minutes post application helps a little bit but as it doesn’t have staining formula it won’t look that rich after patting down.
Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick is available in 17 beautiful shades including neutral browns, bright pinks, Oranges, Plums and Reds.
Recommendation: Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick Fire is a fierce orangey red with buttery smooth formula which glides like a dream on lips. It gives opaque coverage in a single swipe ( trust me.. just one is enough!! ) and is light weight and non-sticky. It is quite moisturizing to the lips and feels uber comfortable but I have to trade off with the longetivity for this as it doesn’t stay on lip for more than 2-3 hours and if you gotta eat in between… you will have it all over your food 😛 .. yeah it transfers that crazy :-/. I love the glossy shine and its delectable vanilla scent but wish it lasted better or would have stained lips better. Go for it, only if you like super creamy lipsticks..!!
Rating: 3.5/5 (It does what it claims except longetivity)
Have you tried Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick Fire? Which finish you prefer in lipsticks glossy or matte?
