Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer Review

Hello Everyone,

I have to confess that I could find only a few affordable options when it comes to a nice day time moisturizer. I love Lotus Alpha Moist but nothing else has come close to that. Clinique Dramatically different Moisturising Lotion is a great moisturizer but the price is on the higher side. So, like always I was hunting for a good moisturizer for my dry skin when I came across this herbal brand “Plum”. So, lets talk about an Aloe Based moisturizer from Plum, Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer

Plum Aloe Day MoisturizerAbout the brand:Plum Goodness is a new brand offering skin care solutions to all. Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer is their first product and now they have an entire range of products starting from Body wash to scrubs and masks. Plum is always fee of Parabens, phthalates, propylen glycol, SLS,DEA &PABA.

Product Claims: Say goodbye to dryness, irritation and dullness. Certified organic by Ecocert, France, this day cream is a light moisturizer to keep your face hydrated, nourished, and most importantly, happy! Completely free of silicones, synthetic fragrances and colors. Filled with the goodness of organic aloe juice, rosemary and relaxing essential oils. The perfect pick if you’re looking for a pure, organic, everyday moisturizer for naturally radiant skin.

Direction for Use:- Apply on face and neck once or twice daily and let your skin soak up on pure, organic nourishment.

Ingredients:- Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Benzyl Alcohol, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dehydro Acetic Acid, Embelica officinalis* extract, Glyceryl Monostearate, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (and) Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Propanediol, Vegetable Glycerin**, Xanthan gum, Ylang ylang flower oil

Price:- Rs.545 for 60ml

Shelf Life:-  years from the Mfg date.

Packaging:- Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer comes in a white colored tube type packaging with a flip top cap. The packaging is sturdy, easy to use and travel with.

My experience with Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer:-

Formula: Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer is a green tinted creamy moisturizer with medium thick texture and has slight gel like feel to it. It applies easily and gives a slight cooling sensation to the skin while getting absorbed. The formula is light weight which doesn’t feel oily or greasy on application but it takes time to get absorbed completely into the skin.

The moisturizer has lots of the herbal ingredients which are natural moisturizers like Aloe Vera Juice, Sunflower Oil, Rosemary Extracts among others.

Finish: It gives a semi-dewy finish to the skin which is just perfect for my dry skin. I need just a pea sized amount of the moisturizer for my full face but if taken more it takes a bit time to blend in.

Fragrance: This is the only thing that I disliked about this Moisturizer. Plum Aloe Moisturizer has a strong artificial sort of Aloe Vera fragrance which I doesn’t enjoy at all and it takes some time to fade away post-application.

Results: Plum Aloe Moisturize has kept my skin moisturized and nourished during the drier winter season. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and absolutely no greasy or oily layer behind. I used Cocoa Moist from Lotus in the past but it felt so heavy and greasy.

Don’t Miss to Checkout:

Pros of Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer:-

  1. Light weight texture
  2. Doesn’t feel sticky or heavy
  3. Beautifully moisturizing
  4. Doesn’t makes skin greasy
  5. Contains natural ingredients
  6. Can be worn under makeup
  7. Free from Parabens and other chemicals
  8. Sturdy and travel friendly packaging

Cons of Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer:-

  1. Strong artificial fragrance
  2. Take some time to blend in
  3. Bit pricey

Recommendation:- Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer is a lovely herbal moisturizer with natural ingredients and light weight formula that doesn’t feel heavy and blends easily into the skin but needs a few finger strokes to get absorbed completely. The moisturiser will be great for dry to combination skin because of light non-sticky texture. This moisturiser will be my companion during summers. If you are looking for a light moisturiser and don’t mind its strong fragrance do give it a shot.
