Packaging:- The blush come in a stunning reddish pink metallic packaging with a transparent glass lid which let you watch the beautiful heart embossed blush. The packaging is sturdy unlike NYX blushes which can break under pressure. The locking system isn’t like the regular pull lid to open but a stylish press button which unlocks the beauty with a click sound and then you can lift the lid to checkout the blush.
The case is divided in two compartments with the top one holding the beautiful heart-patterned blush and the bottom one containing super-pretty brush with pink and red colored bristles. The base of the blush pan has a small mirror attached to it which comes handy for touch ups. On top of all this I don’t have to even touch the blush pan to reach to the brush at its bottom, just open the lid more than 90 degrees and the blush pan starts lifting and opens the door to get to the brush.
Also, the bottom of the case isn’t like a sealed floor but has lots of tiny holes in it, may be to dust of the excess powder that remains on the brush…could it have been better than that!!! This is the best ever packaging of a product I own till date
My experience with Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush- Rose:-
Rose contains a mix of hearts in beige brown (smaller hearts), rosy pink (larger one), reddish pink, two baby pinks, a big peachy one all embossed in a light pink base. . As, it can be depicted from the name of the blush itself that it doesn’t have a matte finish but has finely milled shimmers in the base. These cute little hearts throws me to a romantic island and violin starts playing in my heart. The look and feel of the blush is so delightful and pleasing to the eyes that it instantly boosts up my mood.
Coming to the performance of the blush, it has satiny smooth texture and isn’t powdery or chalky rather I find it a bit stiff as it doesn’t loosen up even if the brush is swiped hard against the pan. The stubborn texture make it a bit difficult to work with this. It doesn’t have a much pigmented formula which was slightly disappointing so ,to double-check its pigmentation, I waked up the devil in me and rubbed my fingers hard against the heart pattern and reached to a conclusion that peachy and pink hearts offer best pigmentation but the light pink base and the beige brown ones barely shows up.
When the brush is rolled-over the pan, it picks up very little color from the hearts which is responsible for the poor color pay off, but that can be a major Pro for the beginners. Beginners may find it hard to work with super-pigmented blushes but this sheer formula and buildable coverage can rescue them. The blush gives a lovely rosy pinkish-glow to the cheeks but in an understated way which looks pretty natural and absolutely adorable. It can also be built up to an deep rosy pink but make sure to keep the brush strokes in single direction, from hairline towards nose or it may look a little patchy.
The low color payoff doesn’t come in its way of longevity and it gives a wear time of 7-8 hours on me with barely any fading. As claimed, the blush is intoxicated with a mild rosy floral aroma which adds to the beauty of the blush.

Recommendation:- Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Rose is a soft rosy pink blush infused with tiny shimmers particles for a natural glowing look. Texture is velvety smooth but not soft and needs to be built up to get desired color on the cheeks. The thing I liked about this blush even with its low color payoff is is while blending the blush on cheeks; it doesn’t turn all shimmery and shows its color really well. The wear-time is great and it wears really well for 8-9 hours on me.
Its drool-worth packaging is the USP of the product. It may look slightly oversized as its taller than regular blush pans but it is easy to use and travel with. The name of the blush itself is so appealing sans the packaging that I couldn’t help but get it instantly. If you are into pigmented blushes and don’t want to spend those extra seconds building up the blush than skip this but if you are beginner and testing the tides of color on your cheek, it will be a great product.
Rating:- 3.5/5 as a product but 5/5 for packaging.
