NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk Bean Review
NYX is known mainly for its cream blushers and Jumbo Eye Pencils. I possess the blusher in “Glow” which is an amazing natural looking pinkish blush and imparts a natural glow to the cheeks.
Few weeks back when medplusbeauty.com was running an offer on NYX, I thought of trying these much awaited NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils but most of the shades were running Out of stock and could get hold on to Milk Bean shade from my wish-list. So here is my review on NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk Bean

Brand:- NYX is another such brand that I would love to see in India but due to its unavailability I normally depend on online shopping websites for NYX products. NYX is one of the top contenders for best cream blushers. It also offers budget makeup bases which does a decent job too.
Price:- Rs.350 for 5 gms (approx.)
Packaging:- NYX Jumbo Eye pencil as the name signifies are fat eye pencil just like Lakme Satin kajal. The pencil is contained in a white plastic cover with a transparent glass cap. The cap is really fragile and has already developed a crack. I haven’t used this pencil more than 2-3 times and didn’t drop it either.
My experience with NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk Bean:-
Milk bean has a smooth creamy texture and glides easily over the lids. The pencil is very much pigmented and gives opaque white color in a single swipe. The color pay-off is pretty good but goes sheer when blended.
The pencil spreads evenly on the lids giving a sheer matte white color on eyes. Due to its creamy texture it smudges very easily and can works great as a base to powder or light colored eye shadows like Bourjois Ombre a paupiers Rose Tentation and make them look more vibrant but creases few hours post-application.
The pencil can also be used on waterline (as white kohl) for open-eye look but the staying is really poor as the shade tends to fade away pretty quickly.
To increase the staying and delay the creasing it would be better to set these with a compact or face powder before starting with the eye shadow application.

Pros of NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk Bean:-
- Soft creamy texture
- Very easy to apply
- Works great as base for light colored eye shadows
- Well pigmented
- The pencil will be last me really long (5gm)
- Gets removed quite easily
- Available in many beautiful colors
Cons of NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk Bean :-
- Creases pretty fast on oily lids
- Fades off quickly from the waterline too
- Availability is an issue but can be bought online
Recommendation:- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk Bean is a white colored pencil in matte finish with creamy texture. The pencil glides nicely over the lids without tugging or pulling. It is a bit too creamy to last long and fades quickly from the water line too.
It blends evenly and does a decent job as a base to light eye shadow. It makes them look brighter but it doesn’t last long and creases easily after application. Overall, I think Jumbo eye pencil is an average product and slightly over-hyped.
