L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ Cream Review

Hello Everyone,

I have already reviewed the L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 30+ Cream which worked okay on my dry skin but after using it for almost a month I planned to switch to 20+ version. Though I had 40+ on my mind but it was giving me jitters to even think of that .. you know because it makes me feel older 😛 . So, let’s see if this Teenage version worked for me, L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ Cream.

L'Oreal Skin Perfect 20+ Anti Imperfections and whitening creamProduct Claims: L’Oreal Paris 20+ Skin Perfect Range is combined with Perlite and Salicylic Acid which helps keep oiliness, pimples and blemishes at bay through your twenties while giving you that perfect clear skin glow.

Price:- Rs. 325 for 50 gms

Shelf Life:-  36 months from the Mfg date.

Packaging:- L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ Cream comes in a heavy white colored round glass jar with a golden screw cap on top.  There is a lid between cap to keep the cream to the jar but the I could still it smearing on the edges. The container is quite heavy and might break if dropped from a height.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ Cream :-

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 30+ is pale beige coloured cream with medium-thick consistency which applies smoothly and spreads evenly across face.

The formula takes some time to blend into the skin and leaves a slight whitish cast. It doesn’t feel heavy on skin but I am sure it doesn’t rub in completely rather sits on the surface of the skin.

The cream has mattifying texture which doesn’t work for my dry skin and I have to run for a moisturizer to quench my skin’s thirst.

The cream has a strong fruity fragrance which might not be liked by everyone but it didn’t bother me, as it vanished within seconds of application.

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ cream claims to contain UV filters but doesn’t exactly mention the SPF protection. Also , the cream is supposed to give a flawless look by adding glow and fairness to the skin but I didn’t experience any of these rather the white cast and matte finish made things worst.

Don’t Miss to Checkout:

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 30+ Cream:-

  1. Specially formulated for 20+ age group
  2. Creamy texture which applies easily
  3. Doesn’t feel heavy on skin
  4. Doesn’t leave any greasy residue
  5. Sets to matte finish
  6. Great for oily/combination skin
  7. Claims to contain UV filters
  8. Affordably priced

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 30+ Cream:-

  1. Jar packaging is not travel friendly
  2. Leaves a white cast which needs to be blended well
  3. Has a strong fragrance which might not be liked by everyone
  4. The formula doesn’t sink in completely
  5. Matte finish doesn’t work for dry skin

Recommendation:- L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect 20+ Cream is a light–weight day cream in matte finish and with anti-imperfections benefits. It glides easily on skin but needs to be blended well into the skin to get rid of white cast. The finish is absolutely matte and it doesn’t provide any hydration to the skin, so will be best to oily skin in summers. It claims to contain UV filters but no SPF factor mentioned so layer it up with your favorite sunscreen for some protection. The range starts from Rs. 99 onwards, so you can pick a smaller size before buying a full version.

Yups, even I do not like the white cast it leaves. And yes for dry skin it would really be a tough product !

White cast is enough to put me off this! :/…Matte finish does sound interesting though
