L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner Review

Hello everyone,

I have already shared about the Importance of Toners in skin care regime and the list of best Skin toners available in India. Toners are a must have in skin care regime as they improve the skin quality by giving it a firm and toned look. I am obsessed with anti-ageing products these days and have been looking for something with similar properties and alcohol-free formula for my dry skin and this is what I found out, an anti-ageing toner from L’Oreal Paris, L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti - Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner Packaging
Product Claims: See pic below

Price: Rs 549 for 200 ml

Packaging: L’oreal Revitalift Aqua Milky Toner comes in a translucent white colored plastic bottle with a screw cap. There is a large hole at the mouth to dispense the product, though I would have loved some pump dispenser for the same. The packaging is sturdy and leak-proof but I won’t say that it is completely travel friendly as it feels heavy and bulky.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner:

L’oreal Revitalift Aqua Milky Toner perfectly compliments its name as it is a milky white colored toner with slightly thicker texture compared to the runny consistency of the usual toners. The toner has a rich nourishing formula which instantly hydrates my dry skin and relieves it from any dryness. Owing to its thicker consistency, it takes some time to sink completely into the skin so I just leave it on for few minutes till it gets absorbed completely. I only need few drops of this toner to cover full face and it nourishes my skin beautifully.

The L’oreal Revitalift toner doesn’t feel oily or greasy but it is indeed heavier and I could feel slight stickiness on touching my face post application.  During day, I can easily skip on the moisturizer and directly follow with L’Oreal Aqua Essence SPF 30 sunscreen.

It is retinol based toner which claims to reduce wrinkles and fine lines and I must say that it is very effective and does a good job at reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles from my facial skin with regular usage, giving a firm and tightened feel to the skin.

  4. Diminishes fine lines
  5. Makes skin smoother
  6. Works wonderfully for dry skin in Winters
  7. Didn’t broke me out
  8. Easily available

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner:

  1. Takes some time to get absorbed
  2. Skin feels a bit sticky
  3. Not for Oily Combination Skin
  4. Contains Alcohol 🙁

RecommendationL’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Ageing + Firming Aqua Milky Toner is my first Anti-ageing toner and I am happy with its performance. It is slightly heavy as compared to the toners I have used in the past but I guess that Is due to its retinol infused formula which works on signs of aging, wrinkles which starts appearing on the skin in early 30’s .My skin feels soft, smooth and looks more even after using it regularly. So, if you have started seeing signs of aging on your skin like wrinkles appearing on forehead and pores around the nose have become prominent, its time for you to start with anti-ageing products in your skincare regime and this L’Oreal toner can be a good option.

The texture seems quite different. It looks good for dry skin. I love using natural toners for my acne prone skin! Lovely review dear 🙂

It is nothing similar to the toners I have tried which are more watery!!

Surely milky with additional nourishing properties.. 🙂 .. herbals toners are my favorite too but i keep switching .. life of a blogge you know.. 😛

The texture reminds me of the garnier light milky dew toner which did not work for me. I guess this one too is dry skin centric. Retinol however is an added bonus 🙂

Garnier has a toner as well.. thats a surprise.. 😛 .. I have not tried much of Garnier skin care

Yeahh it is surely best bet for dry skin but cant say the same for others.. :-/

Seems like a really effective product! I like that its not too pricey like most anti ageing products are

    • poonamJanuary 25, 2015 at 1:28 PM - Reply

Thats the plus point.. bcz the moment anti ageing becomes a part of product price shoots up.. 😛
