Packaging:- The liner comes in a regular thick round glass pot, typical gel liner packaging but has a classy shiny metallic gold colored screw cap which adds an exclusive flavor to the packaging. It has the best packaging of all the 3 gel liners I own including a Maybelline gel Liner which comes with a cheap looking silver cap and L’Oreal Super Liner 24 hr Gel liner which has simple black plastic cap.
The liner comes with a standard liner brush which has similar golden-metallic touch near the tip. The liner comes with a see-through plastic cap which fits snugly with the brush and protects the bristles, full points on packaging.
My experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Gel Liner- Blackest Black:-
Infallible gel liner has a light, smooth, creamy formula and I must say I find it softer than the Maybelline one. It glides on smoothly over the lids giving precise application. I had issues drawing thin lines with Maybelline one but I get them so easily with L’Oreal Infallible Gel Liner, may be it’s the formula of L’Oreal one or I must have mastered the art of using Gel-Liners. 🙂
The formula is thin and doesn’t fill in between the bristles which by time makes it impossible to draw smooth lines. So, it’s a win-win situation for those who forget to clean their eye liner brushes on a regular basis.
The color pay off is tremendous and give a rich dark black look in a single stroke. It goes slightly shiny and super-dark immediate after application but dries slightly matte and a bit lighter so once you are done, let it dry and re-apply the liner for that super-pigmented black finish.
I have oily lids where most of the liners starts fading by the end of the day but it refused to budge and didn’t moved a bit even after 12 hours of wear. It takes few second to dry but once set it doesn’t smear or smudge and is set for whole day. It dries to a slightly matte finish and turns absolutely smudge-proof and fade-proof.
I put it to test, swatched it on my arms and after waiting for a minute rubbed vigorously, it started fading after lots of effort but no smudging even then.. I must say I am IMPRESSED! It wears amazingly well.
Don’t Miss to Checkout:
Brush-The brush is of good quality with soft and densely packed bristles which gives much controlled application but if used roughly it may go a little scratchy against the delicate eye lid area because of the firmness, so use it gently.

Once set, it is set for the day and even on oily lids it won’t show any signs of smudging, fading, flaking or transferring. It is really long wearing liner which you just put in the morning and forget about it whole day. It comes in a sparkling gold packaging and a nice brush which gives a flawless application. It is an amazing eye liner and a must have for summers. I haven’t tried many so couldn’t compare but I am sure it can give a tough competition to the front-runners. Highly Recommended!
