INGLOT Eye Shadow #459 Double Sparkle Review, Swatch, EOTD
INGLOT eye shadows are my Holy Grail eye shadows and I swear by these. They have never failed me in terms of quality as well as their affordability. I love these eye shadows to the core and today I am showing you another shade from my INGLOT collection, INGLOT Eye Shadow in #459 Double Sparkle which I won in an Eye Makeup Contest held by Samyukta on her blog ISimplyLoveMakuep.com

Product Claims: Special silicones, treated pigments, talc, mica, nylon and unique spherical powder provide high lubricity and a silky touch for an easy smooth, long lasting, crease resistant application.
Price:- Rs.560 for 2 gms.
Packaging:- These single eye shadow come in a round black plastic pot with a transparent screw lid. The see-though cap makes it easy to locate the shade but I find it difficult to carry single eye shadows and prefer palettes over these. Also the lid isn’t attached to the pan and I have a habit of dropping it off. 😛

My experience with INGLOT Eye Shadow #459 Double Sparkle:-
#459 is a medium-dark Grayish Taupe shade with Purple undertones and shimmer flecks suspended in the matte base. The color is pretty difficult to explain which is a mix of grey, brown and purple shades. It contains multi-colored shimmers which aren’t gritty and feel smooth to touch.
The eye shadow has buttery smooth texture with velvety soft feel. These are not like the regular powder eye shadows which are chalky or have hard texture but utterly soft which may crumble if striked hard with brush but it doesn’t falls out during application (tap off th excess from the brush and you are good to go). The formula is heavily pigmented and gives an intense color payoff with slightest touch. It gets applied effortlessly on the lids and with few strokes I get an absolutely opaque coverage. It blends beautifully and would work great for Smokey Eyes in the crease and outer-V corners.
It lasts for 3-4 hours (no primer) on my oily lids before it starts creasing but it can be increased by using a primer underneath and it will stay whole day without any fading or creasing.
EOTD: Swiped all over the lids and the blended over the crease
The iridescent flecks of shimmers are barely visible on lids which make it a wearable office-friendly eye shadow. Also, they stay put on the lid and doesn’t fall out on my face throughout the day. It is best applied using a flat shading brush but can also be applied with finger tips when used all over the lids.

Recommendation:- INGLOT Eye Shadow #459 Double Sparkle is a lovely Eggplant kind of a shade with its purple undertones and taupe gray base. It is double sparkle formula with multi-colored micro-shimmers splattered in matte base which gives it a subtle shine. The texture is superb, pigmentation is brilliant, blends excellently, lasts pretty long and you get all of these without burning a hole in your pocket. They are one of the best powder eye shadows and are a pleasure to use. The quality is amazing and is often compared to MAC’s. If you like smokey eyes and soft neutral eye look, then do try this shade but in the Freedom System range as that would be more affordable. Recommended!
