Colorbar Nail Lacquer – Exclusive 22 Review, NOTD

I find Colorbar Nail lacquers naming convention quite strange as some of them have designated names but others are left with numbers to make a distinction. Earlier, I used to stay away from n*de shades and my nail collection had a heavy dose of bright colors. I had a perception that n*de color make my hands look dull and dark but when I tried these at the Colorbar counter (long back) it made my hands look so elegant yet attractive that I had to take them home.

I bought Colorbar Nail Enamel –Exclusive 22 along with Colorbar Nail Enamel- Mulberry 21

Product Claims: The Nail Polish is a simple one stroke application and fortifies the nails while giving them a high shine and intense color. It is fast drying and chip resistant. It does not yellow the nails and is long lasting; just what you need to make your hands look salon perfect!

Price:- Rs.100 for 9ml (Now they have increased their price to Rs110)

My experience with Colorbar Nail Lacquer – Exclusive 22:-

Exclusive 22 is a gorgeous peachy pink shade. It is very soft peachy color nail enamel with micro-mini shimmers. The pink shimmer specks are much more prominent than the green ones but both are nicely milled with the nail lacquers and don’t feel chunky or glittery. It comes as a wonderful peach shade on the nails and looks graceful on my not so fair hands too.

The brush also does a good job in distributing the color smoothly. The consistency of the nail lacquer is equally good which isn’t thick and gets picked up easily by the brush. I totally love the formula of the nail lacquer which spreads evenly over the nails and give a streak-free application.

The nail lacquer is highly pigmented and gives opaque coverage in a single coat but to double up the intensity and improve the staying of the nail enamel I go for 2 coats.

I was amazed to see how quickly the nail enamel dries. I didn’t turn clumsy nor thickens up with multiple swipes. It dries to high glossy finish and the fine shimmer granules give a beautiful sheen to the nail enamel. It also stays good for 2-3 days with minimum chipping form the tips without a top coat.

  2. Ultra smooth shimmers
  3. Streak proof formula
  4. Well pigmented
  5. Dries really quick
  6. Glossy sheen finish
  7. Reasonably priced

Cons of Colorbar Nail Lacquer –Exclusive 22:-

  1. I couldn’t find any cons just that it could have been given a name than the number

Recommendation:- Colorbar Nail Enamel –Exclusive 22 is a lovely peachy nail enamel with fine shimmer particles. In spite of being a light shade it is intensely pigmented and gives complete coverage in a single coat. I really like its streak free and quick dry formula. It is one of my favorite n*de shade which makes my hands looks so neat and clean. This shade can be very well used to give a break to bright and dark shades and yet make your hands look so stylish. Highly recommended!
