Today, I will not be sharing any makeup or skincare product but a tool that is desirable by every one of you, something that will help you get rid of unwanted hair.. yes I am talking about epilators. There are lots of doubts and confusion around usage of epilators especially when compared to waxing but after my continued usage for last 3 years I can firmly say that “Epilators are Hands down the Best”. I have been using Braun Epil Silk 5 Epilator for past 3 years and I have never gone back to waxing. Now, I got a chance to try this new Face epilator which I was quite skeptical about initially but lets see if it did impress me, Braun Face Mini Epilator 810.

My experience with Braun Face Mini Epilator 810:

Braun Face Mini Epilator comes with two attachments one of which is definitely the epilating head while the other is a cleansing brush which I feel is very thoughtful of the brand because with this cleansing brush I scrub my face before hand so that my pores are open and hair pulls out easily, hence less epilation pain. The Cleansing brush is soft and feels nice on skin. Also, the brush is quite small so it does a good job in exfoliating every nook and corner on face. 😀

Braun Face Mini Epilator has a small round head with epilating tweezers on the lateral surface which makes it super easy to use on small areas on face. Unlike, the regular Braun Epilator, it is battery operated and used 2 AA batteries which will easily give 6-7 epilations (depending on your usage).

The epilating head can rotate in both the directions so I can go back and forth in hair direction and pluck out tiniest of the hair with ease. Also, the epilating head is very small so I can use it in the small areas like between the brows and upper lips without worrying about over plucking them or hurting lips.

Initially, I had a hard time using this epilator and get that clean shave look but I got the hang of it in 2-3 usages. So, it just needs some patience and a little bit of practice to be an expert using this epilator.

Caution:

If this is the first time you are using epilators I will suggest start with a regular epilator so you get used to epilating and be aware of the pain caused and the process involved because for some the epilating can be more painful.

Tips:

Always scrub and cleanse skin thoroughly and pat it dry, as it open the pores and will help in picking out hair easily and less epilating pain. Also, just like threading keep the epilating area tight so that skin doesn’t get picked by the tweezing heads.

Recommendation: Braun Mini Face Epilator 810 is a perfect pick for epilating small areas like Face, Upper lips, forehead, chin and eye brows to a certain extent. The small tweezing head which can rotate in both directions does a good job in picking even the tiniest hair. It doesn’t work on the barely there peachy fuss on face but that shouldn’t be epilated in first place at all. It may take you 2-3 usage to get accustomed to use this epilator but after that you will be addicted to it. Also, I love that it comes with a cleansing brush which will help exfoliating skin before epilating or just like that.

My only complain with this epilator is that it runs on batteries and I have to keep some of the in stock for emergencies but otherwise I absolutely love this one. It can be a life saver especially for pregnant women and new Moms who don’t have any time to visit the parlor to get rid of unwanted hair. Recommended!
